Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has issued instructions to authorities, urging them not to declare public holidays for any public programs he is scheduled to attend in the upcoming days. Additionally, he emphasized the prohibition of children's participation in these programs.

This directive was prompted by news reports indicating that Sunapati Rural Municipality in Ramechhap district had declared a public holiday for a program attended by the Prime Minister on January 4, as reported by Govinda Acharya, PM's Press Advisor. Following the Prime Minister's instruction, the rural municipality reportedly revoked the declared public holiday.
